As part of its mandate, the Department of Tourism (DOT), through the Office of Human Capital
Development Division (OHCD) and its Regional Offices, is tasked with developing training modules
and conducting multi-skills training seminars, including continuing education programs for industry
manpower. These initiatives are carried out in coordination with relevant government agencies,
tourism enterprises, and associations, with the aim of upgrading the quality, competence, and
excellence of tourism service delivery across the country.
