  A. RATIONALE:
  This geotechnical investigation is required to prepare for the Detailed Architectural and Engineering Design (DAED) of the Proposed Construction of Heart, Lung, Renal, and Kidney Transplant Center Building, which will be implemented by the Cagayan 3rd District Engineering Office, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region II.
  The investigation is essential for generating the necessary data for proper analysis and design of the building foundation. It is a critical component of the project planning process, ensuring the structural safety, stability, and durability of the proposed facility.
