I. RATIONALE:
It is recognized that true and sustainable development cannot be achieved without the integration of gender concerns at all levels of the development process. In line with this, the Department of Education (DepEd) has directed all government agencies and instrumentalities to mainstream gender and development (GAD) in their plans, programs, projects, and school activities.
