1. The RAPID Growth Project aims to increase the income of small farmers and unemployed rural women and men across selected value chains. The development objective is to provide strategic enabling conditions for the sustained growth of micro and small enterprises in agricultural commodity chains with comparative advantage, market demand, and growth potential, backward linkages to small farmers, and job creation effects.

To achieve the above bottom-line target of increased farmers- income, the project interventions will focus on helping producers increase their productivity, promoting varietal change, improving production, harvest, post-harvest, and processing practices to supply specific requirements; and promote greater business partnerships among industry stakeholders.
