SCOPE OF WORK

Based on the objective, the technical consultant will be required to conduct series of consultation, mentoring, monitoring and end-to-end facilitation activities as well as develop a detailed action plan to ensure its execution, with the end goal of securing Halal Certification for the MSMEs listed in this TOR (Annex A). Specifically, the technical consultant shall undertake the following:
• Preparation of a Detailed Outline of the Halal Certification Process for the twenty-four (24) identified MSMEs in Region 12;
• Conduct consultative and mentoring sessions and firm visits to the identified MSMEs and provide recommendations based on findings relevant to the Halal Assurance System;
• Initiate the application (inclusion of certification fees and other charges) for Halal Certification with a Halal Certification Body accredited by Philippine Accreditation Board (PAB), or the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF).
