INTERNAL AUDIT TRAINING ON QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

I. BACKGROUND

The Provincial Government of La Union recognizes the importance of strengthening its Quality Management System to ensure compliance with ISO standards and to promote continuous improvement in the delivery of services in preparation for the upcoming recertification. The conduct of internal audit training is deemed necessary to enhance the knowledge, skills and competencies of internal auditors.

II. OBJECTIVES

The Internal Audit Training aims to:

1. Enhance the competency of internal auditors in planning, conducting and reporting in internal audit in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

2. Promote consistency and effectiveness in the conduct of internal audit across all offices and hospitals of PGLU.

3. Equip participants with the necessary skills to identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions and contribute to the organization-s continuous improvement.
