Description : The Philippine Book Publishing Industry Analysis (PBPIA) is a research product that aims to provide a comprehensive mapping of the Philippine book industry, including its supply chain, policy landscape, and market conditions, to identify bottlenecks and recommend evidence-based interventions. The analysis will guide the new objectives to be set for the updating of the National Book Policy (NBP), and the data gathered will be used for the strategic framework that will lead to the agency-s new National Book Development Plan (NBDP).
With this, considering that it needs an external technical expertise to materialize the updating of the NBP, the NBDB deemed it necessary to engage Consulting Services for the PBPIA through Small Value Procurement in accordance with Section 34 of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Republic Act No. 12009.
