Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Distributional Impacts of Plastics Policies. Philippines Implementation of the Plastic Policy Simulator (PPS), a tool developed by the World Bank. The simulator aims to assess the impacts (environmental, economic, financial, and social implications) of different plastic policy scenarios (e.g. fees, bans, etc.) on selected plastic products. SCOPE OF WORK Key elements of the work required for this purpose are: -Collect data and information on solid waste and plastics management, which will be entered into the policy simulator for baseline assessment (Material Flow Analysis; Plastics Value Chain) -Provide information on existing, planned, and potential plastic policies in the country and identify suitable plastic policy reform scenarios to be entered into the plastic policy simulator -Run plastic policy reform scenarios in the PPS -Analyze and present results, report writing -Engage with gov stakeholders -Adjustment of the policy simulator as required to best fit Philippines situation
