Description : 1.0 BACKGROUND
Recognizing the critical need for a comprehensive approach to cybersecurity, Intellectual Property of the Philippines (IPOPHL) seeks to enhance its cyber resilience through a systematic assessment and transformation of its existing cyber programs. The current state of cyber threats demands a proactive approach, in which agencies' constantly adjust to new vulnerabilities in addition to defending against possible breaches.
By engaging in a thorough assessment and transformation process, IPOPHL aims to strengthen its cybersecurity posture, ensuring the protection of sensitive information and the continuity of its services. This endeavor will also support the organization's commitment to fostering trust among stakeholders and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and standards in the realm of cybersecurity. This project is one of the bureau's 2025 strategic goals. The most recent vulnerability assessment was carried out in 2017.
