Description : Background
1. The Davao City - University of the Philippines Sports Complex (DC-UPSC) Joint Management
Committee (JMC) through the University of the Philippines Mindanao is interested in procuring
the services of a qualified team of multi-disciplinary expert consultants comprising national
consultants to assist in project preparation activities for a proposed DC-UP Sports Complex
Power Substation and Distribution project, including completion of the project front-end
engineering design, and preparation of bid documents for the engineering procurement, and
construction contract for the transmission and distribution systems recommended. The firm
is to work closely with the Campus Planning and Development Office (CPDO), the executing
office, that directly supports the JMC.
2. The project aims to support the Sports facilities- electrical requirements. At present, the
demand for electric power in the UP Mindanao Sports Complex is growing rapidly, and this
