The Ship to Shore Rights South East Asia: Safe migration for decent work in the blue economy is a EU-funded initiative of the UN led by the International Labour Organization (ILO).The project is looking for a consultant to translate the ASEAN Guidelines on the Placement and Protection of MigrantFishers.The objective of this consultancy is to provide a high-quality, accurate, and contextually appropriate translation of the ASEAN Guidelines (15,603 English words) into Filipino/Tagalog, ensuring that migrant fishers, government authorities, civil society organizations, and industry stakeholderscan fully understand and apply its provisions.The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks:1. Translation Translate the ASEAN Guidelines on the Placement and Protection of Migrant Fishers from English (15,603 words) into Filipino/Tagalog while maintaining legal and technical accuracy. Ensurethe use of appropriate terminology consistent with ASEAN labour migration policies, fisheries regulations, and international labour standards2. Review and Quality Assurance Conduct a self-review and revision of the translated document to ensure linguistic accuracy, clarity, and coherence. Engage ina peer review process with experts, if necessary, to validate technical terminology.3. Finalization and Submission Incorporate feedback from ILO and relevant stakeholders. Provide a final, formatted version of the translated document in an editable format (Word) and a print-ready format(PDF)...
