  Description : I. BRIEF BACKGROUND:
  
  In line with its vision of positioning Metro Manila as the premier MICE destination in the
  Philippines, DOT-NCR continues to align its programs with the MICE Tourism Road Map, which
  highlights the importance of innovation, professional development, destination competitiveness, and
  collaboration among government and private stakeholders. Through the roadmap, Metro Manila is
  envisioned to become a dynamic hub for business events and international gatherings by
  strengthening tourism infrastructure, improving service delivery, and developing a highly skilled
  workforce capable of meeting global MICE industry standards. As part of this continuing effort, DOT
  NCR received a request from the City Government of Pasig - Cultural Affairs and Tourism Office (CATO)
  for the conduct of a seminar focusing on events management, strategic planning, and protocols.
