Description : GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Evaluate and assess the areas impacted by Severe Tropical Storm (STS) Kristine to determine the most appropriate activities for implementation, and involve local communities and stakeholders in restoration and conservation efforts, promoting environmental stewardship and raising awareness about the significant role of terrestrial ecosystems in supporting biodiversity and human well-being by presenting the result to the Protected Area Management Board (PAMB).
Specifically, the following are the objectives for Phase I
•To conduct a comprehensive assessment on the affected areas within TVPL
•To generate a necessary data to determine proper activities and projects to be implemented
•To develop a technically sound and site-specific plan for terrestrial ecosystems in line with existing legal frameworks and environmental standards.
