*-The periodontal model should be a training model thal can be used for simulated periodontal procedures, including probing, scaling and root planing; *-Artificial gingivae are made of nylon fiber with opaque pink color, as these would best simulated human gingivae; *-Artificial teeth should simulate normal tooth anatomy and the tooth surfaces should be capable of application of artificial calculus; *-The articulator type whould allow adaptation to the existing dental simulator systems/phantom head systems in the Biochemistry, Dental Materials and Restorative Dentistry laboratory rooms of the College of Dentistry; *-Made of Strong and corrosion resistant components/parts; *-Artificial teeth and metal components are easy to disaasemble and reassemble; Can be easily cleaned and disinfected.
