COMPUTERS, MONITORSANDLAPTOP
1. The suppliers shall supply ICT equipment which fulfills at least ENERGY STAR 6.1 for computers and 7.1 for monitors
criteria.
2. The supplier shall supply products with a visible On/Off switch.
3. In case of desktop computers: The supplier shall supply products which are designed so that the memory, hard disk and
CDdrive are readily accessible and can be changed easily for upgrade.
4. The supplier shall supply notebooks and desktop computers where the availability of replacement batteries and power
supplies is guaranteed for at least 5 years after end of production.
5. The supplier shall supply the products in recyclable packages and shall provide a packaging take-back service.
