STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR ½” Ø, ¾” Ø, AND
1½” Ø WATER METERS

I. TYPE OF METER:
a) Multi-jet dynamically balanced vane wheel. (DMD-A)
b) Register assembly must be dry type hermetically sealed.c) Anti-magnetic. Magnetic coupling must be protectedfrom external magnetic fields of 1,500 gauss.
d) With removable strainer at the inlet with an effectivearea of at least three (3) times the body inlet.
e) The dial lens shall be high impact glass lens and abrasion resistant.
f) Regulator knob must be located outside the meter casing and shall be provided with a seal protector.
II. DIMENSIONS:
